the first of the season

Thanks for the prayers! I had my first wedding of the season last weekend and it went really well. They had some exciting elements during their ceremony as well as giving their guests board games to play while they could take their photos since the wedding and reception where at the same facility. I was tired by the end of the evening but after a full work week and another shoot on Sunday the thoughts and prayers were what got me through.

raccoon eyes

So my eyes have been pretty scratchy lately as my seasonal allergies begin... last week I came home and just rubbed my eyes for a good 5 minutes (I know you aren't supposed to do that) and afterwards I looked like this! Scary. So I figured, why not document it so I can laugh about it later. Hope you laugh too!

Happy Spring

Last week I bought some tulips but they didn't last too long... this week I received this bunch of beautiful flowers from my Madre. There's just something about fresh flowers that can make your day!

After the 1st wedding of the season its time to EDIT EDIT EDIT. Props goes to the first person who can find my "assistant" in the picture to the left. The coffee is not considered an assistant

Kick off

Saturday is the kick off to my .09 wedding season! I'm ready! I have new equipment and some fun ideas- we'll see if I can implement them this weekend.
Please pray for me as I have had a busy work week as well as photo deadlines this week. I also have a long work day on Friday- I'm trying to get rest when I can so I'll be at my best for Saturday.

Art

This is the art from a 15 month old- we've been working on coloring only on the paper and he is doing well. 

I'm sure he'll begin drawing stick people much better than myself by summer ;) 

I love making art with kids... always have, always will.
