I took this through our window last night but the moon looked amazing lighting up the clouds that slowly moved across the moon's center.
So I cheated since I knew I wouldn't get up at 5 this morning to see the eclipse. ;)

Very nice picture! That's beautiful. This silly camera (that isn't even mine - and I'm very thankful to have in my possession, by the way) would NOT focus on the clouds.
I only knew about it because John told me. And he woke me up at 5 to say "hey look at the moon." Can you believe that? Those of you who know my John - also know he loves to sleep. So this was very surprising. It might also be the fact that we sleep with our curtains open and the moon has been shining into our room in the wee hours all this week. It's pretty cool, but also kind of annoying. Anyway, I don't know why I'm going on and on here in your comments, Brittani. This is definitely my longest comment EVER. ;) I could keep going just for the fun of it.....but I'll stop. xoxo
