I took this through our window last night but the moon looked amazing lighting up the clouds that slowly moved across the moon's center.
So I cheated since I knew I wouldn't get up at 5 this morning to see the eclipse. ;)

TWINS

I'll be watching twin boys, Kyle & Conner starting this Saturday. I really clicked with the family and they live less than 4 miles from me. The boys have my heart already- they are 3.5 and are full of energy with so much to say. The family is very flexible with my schedule and are understanding if the other job opportunity opens and I become less available.

What a blessing!

I'm now printing a zillion business cards to hopefully network with some area high schoolers for senior portraits! Let me know if you know of anyone in need of any kind of portraits or parties that I could photograph.

Clouds are like snowflakes, none are exactly the same! I took these for my friend because she is looking to do a series based on clouds for an art idea. Sounded good to me and I told her I'd help her out...

Mom gave me swoopy bangs last night and Brandi colored it today... so it'll stay dark for awhile and I'm enjoying the bangs :)

Ruby heading to Mexico

Another friend of mine left today... and is on her way to Mexico. She will be teaching there for the school year- so she will be gone 40 weeks.

I'll miss her but I know she is doing what God wants. Have a safe trip Ruby- I'll talk to you soon! Love ya

What a great weekend! Friday was a beautiful day with sunshine and a cool breeze and I was able to get a bunch of errands done. Saturday morning I woke up and felt like I needed to put on a sweatshirt and go tailgating! But I cleaned a bit instead... :)
Saturday night I had people over which was nice and I was able to catch up with Kels till late! I crashed at 3:45a only to get up a little after 8. Went to church (brought some newbies) and Rob did a great job of getting us to do the "whatever we do" with all our heart! After church I hung out with my Aunt Brandee (which I haven't done in forever) and then was back home in just enough time to go to Beth's baby shower with Aunt Suzy, Jeny, Bronwen & Annabelle. It was great to see Beth and I'm so happy for her and Cory to be expecting a little bundle of joy in November! From what I hear, Mom had a great weekend too!

Java & Cousins

Christine & I shared some laughs and stories over coffee yesterday. One of the cutest things was watching Madelyn and Chloe stand on the couch waiting to wave goodbye to their Daddy through the window while he was backing out of the driveway! Christine said they wave every single time he leaves. How special!
